Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were a bit dark and smaller than expected from the photos, but the bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was lovely. The service was top-notch, very helpful and courteous all around, however, with no exception. The location was just perfect, within walking distance to everything we needed, giving us an authentic experience of the city. The dining experience was a bit on the expensive side, but they offered toasted bread at a reasonable price. Overall, there were some minor drawbacks, but the positives outweighed them.
Arriving after a long journey, waiting for the room was a bit tiring, but when we finally got in, it was spacious and clean, great for 3 adults. The hotel staff, with the exception of one manager, was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location made it easy for us to explore the city with the metro nearby. The dining options were good overall, in the small lobby area. However, the limited choices may not suit everyone.
Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience. The air conditioning in the rooms was a real treat during the hot days in Paris, but the persistent stench of sewage throughout my stay was a major downside. Despite this, enjoying views of lovely old buildings added a touch of charm to my stay.
